Iwo Jima February 1966
Remains of Japanese soldiers in a cave. There were also about ten helments with them. The lighting conditions of picture were poor...but the image did come out.

Believe it or not -- but, this was once an outdoor kitchen -- Japanese style! Sarge is holding a human jawbone.

Iwo Jima February 1966
Twenty-one gun salute to 4500 American Marines who died 21 years ago starting on this day -- 19 February 1945 -- to take this small island. This anniversary salute was set up for a photo shoot which was later run in an Australian magazine commemorating this historic World War II event.
